About Disciple Makers for the Nations

The rise of Global South believers and missionaries is transforming the future of gospel outreach. DM4N is dedicated to supporting these gospel workers by providing encouragement and resources, while inviting others to join the mission.

Answering the Call: From Bolivia to the Nations

Why did you start DM4N?

Kevin and his wife, Katherine, felt a call to become messengers of the gospel in the Amazon region of Bolivia. There, they raised their two children, planted churches and started K -12 schools within the communities they served.  While working with Youth With a Mission, they witnessed the remarkable potential of Latin Americans to become missionaries. As the missions movement flourished in many Latin American countries, countless opportunities arose to mobilize the church and inspire young people to go forth, make disciples, and help fulfill the Great Commission.

However, as these young missionaries ventured out to live among unreached peoples, they encountered significant challenges in forming support teams from within their churches and social circles. Many churches simply lacked adequate financial capacity or a tradition of giving to missions, making it difficult for these Global South missionaries to sustain their calling to disciple all nations. Observing these passionate and dedicated missionaries grow discouraged, sometimes even abandoning their dreams to serve, we began asking ourselves, “What can be done to help these Global South workers build their own support networks?  Could the Western church be called upon to help provide financial support for these young missionaries who are willing to go to some of the world’s most challenging places to make disciples among unreached peoples?”

Today, we rejoice in witnessing more Africans, Asians, and Latin Americans—led by the Holy Spirit—stepping into their call to preach the gospel and make disciples in places where traditional missionaries face unique obstacles. Truly, the Lord of the harvest is sending workers from everywhere to everywhere, and we are honored to participate in this global gathering. Jesus is building his church, and one day, we will see his promise fulfilled:

“And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14 NLT)

Statement of Faith

We Believe:

  • Scripture as the Foundation: The Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the ultimate reference for all aspects of life and ministry.
  • The Trinity: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ, God’s Son: We affirm that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, recognizing His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary sacrifice, bodily resurrection, ascension, miracles, intercessory ministry, and personal return in power and glory.
  • Response to Grace: Repentance, faith, love, and obedience are the fitting responses to God’s grace, enabled by the active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers to live godly lives.
  • Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the resurrection of all humanity—eternal life for the saved and eternal judgment for the lost.
  • Unity in Christ: Believers in Jesus Christ are united spiritually, joined together by the indwelling Holy Spirit, who empowers the church to fulfill Christ’s great commission: “Go and make disciples of all the nations…” (Matthew 28:19 NLT).

Christlike Stewardship for the Global South

Relevant and Relational Accountability

We care deeply about the lives of missionaries and the communities they serve, recognizing that love and accountability are inseparable in helping people thrive. True flourishing happens when there is a foundation of trust, responsibility, and shared commitment. Accountability, when grounded in love, provides the support and encouragement missionaries need to persevere through challenges and remain faithful to their calling. It is not about control but about walking alongside them, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and relational support to succeed in their vital work.

To love someone well is to care about their growth, their challenges, and their success. This is why accountability is a gift, not a burden—it empowers missionaries to work with confidence and clarity while knowing they are never alone. By fostering relationships built on mutual respect and open communication, we help create a space where missionaries can flourish. It’s through this combination of love and accountability that we ensure they remain equipped, supported, and encouraged to fulfill their mission with faith and integrity.
