A Gospel of Hope for Refugees

*Hibo and his friend *Kasim are two young men from Sudan who studied together at the same university. Being Muslims, they married women in accordance with the Islamic religion but have had marriage difficulties over the past few years and have not had children. Due to the war in Sudan which has caused thousands of people to seek refuge in neighboring countries, they and their families had to leave Sudan last year. They came to Uganda to live in a refugee camp, and after attending a seminar on Christianity that I conducted in Arabic, especially for Arabic-speaking Sudanese refugees, they came to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and were able to share Jesus with their wives as well. Now, *Hibo and *Kasim’s entire families are followers of Jesus, their marriages have been healed, and their wives are each expecting their first child who will now be born into a family of faithful Christ followers.
