Partnering with Global South Missionaries

Jesus said, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” (Matthew 9:37-38 NLT)

How we help

Through partnerships and financial assistance, we identify, empower and support Global South gospel messengers who are making disciples for Jesus among unreached people groups.

Strategic Partnerships

The great commission is being fulfilled throughout the world by Global South workers who are being trained and sent by their local churches and mission organizations.

Financial Support

All financial contributions given to DM4N go directly towards established Global South missionaries. Assisting with some of their essential financial needs allows them to continue their work and serve among unreached people groups.

Mobilizing Prayer

Prayer is the foundation of all we do. We actively engage with believers around the world, inviting them to join us in interceding for missionaries, unreached people groups, and the spread of the gospel. Together, we trust in the power of prayer to transform lives and open doors.

Why the Global South?

Geographic Proximity

Global South believers often live in close proximity to unreached peoples who have not had the opportunity to hear the gospel.

Cultural and Language Affinities

Sharing similar worldviews and languages with unreached people groups, Global South believers can communicate the gospel in ways that resonate deeply, allowing for immediate and impactful connections.

Adaptability and Perseverance

Difficult life experiences have prepared Global South missionaries to live simply and resourcefully, often without many conveniences considered essential in the West. They’ve learned to persevere and find creative solutions in order to overcome adversities.

A Shifting Mission Field

Global Christianity has experienced a seismic shift over the past generation.  We now live in an age of polycentric Christianity where missionaries are going to everywhere from everywhere!  With the majority of evangelicals now living in the Global South, countries like Brazil, Nigeria and India have become centers of disciple making movements.

The stereotypical missionary now looks more like our brothers and sisters from these nations.  They are called, willing and capable to continue their work of sharing the gospel to the least reached peoples. However, often severely limited financial resources can limit their ability to respond effectively and hinder the call upon their lives.

Lift Them Up: Needs in the Field

Praying for the Harvest

Join us in lifting up missionaries and communities around the world. As we pray for the harvest, we ask God to open hearts, create opportunities, and bring transformation to every nation and tribe.

Unreached People Groups

  • Pray for the millions who have never heard the gospel and live in areas without access to it.
  • Ask God to soften hearts and open doors for gospel meeengers to enter these regions.
  • Pray for translation efforts, so people can hear God’s Word in their heart language.

Missionary Safety and Resilience

  • Lift up missionaries in areas facing danger, persecution, or health risks.
  • Pray for physical and mental protection, resilience, and encouragement in their work.
  • Ask God to give them strength, wisdom, and peace as they face daily challenges.

Local Churches in the Global South

  • Pray for the growth and strengthening of churches in Africa, Asia, and Latin America as they develop a greater missions sending paradigm
  • Ask God to empower local pastors and leaders to disciple and nurture their congregations.
  • Pray for resources and support so these churches can continue to spread the gospel.

Core Biblical Mandates

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’

Romans 10:14-15 NLT

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:19-20 NLT

Jesus said, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

Matthew 9:37-38 NLT
